All Terrain Aqua Sport Sun Screen Review

AquaSport Sunscreen by All Terrain is by far one of the best sunscreens I have tried. Just by reading the label you can see some of its better qualities, like:

• No Slip
• Broad Spectrum
• Water Resistant
• Non-Greasy
• Dry Grip
• Fragrance Free
• Oxybenzone Free
• Cruelty Free

Aside from the listed things, which are all great, here is what you can know from reading the label. The sunscreen itself is thick, almost like a cream, and not like a lotion like most other sunscreens.

AuqaSport applies better and goes farther than the other leading brand I compared it too. It didn’t leave my skin feeling dry, or greasy, or sticky. It simply rubbed in and left my skin feeling “moisturized” without the greasy leftover of lotion. It worked just as it said it would. It kept a pretty good no slip – dry grip feel to it the whole time, and it kept me from getting sunburned. It worked comparable to the leading brand I used on my other arm. I like that it is natural and that purified water is the first ingredient.

AquaSport SPF 30 was just rated the top sunscreen in the June 2012 Consumer Report Sunscreen report. The company’s other sunscreens scored high in the June Sunscreen report issued by the Environmental Working Group, which looks for products that are not harmful to children or the environment. 

AquaSport SPF 30 is oxybenzone-free and has full-spectrum protection from UVA (skin cancer) and UVB (sunburn) rays. With non-nano and un-coated zinc oxide, it is natural, non-whitening, non-greasy and fragrance free Lotion or Spray that will not cause eye stinging. It is water and sweat resistant and is proven to be effective after 80 minutes in water.

AuqaSport SPF 30 was listed as a Top-Rated Sunscreen in EWG’s Skin Deep Sunscreens 2012 and also in Consumer Reports. You can read about both awards here.

The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the smell. It says that it is supposed to be fragrance free, but I still found it to have a slight smell. It wasn’t bad, just not “great”.

Overall, I think this is a great sunscreen to use and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a natural sunscreen that works great. Especially for active lifestyles.
